We are a family of five, Ian, myself and our three sons. We enjoy the outdoors, our first trip away was to Exmouth, where we shared our campsite with some inquisitive emus. Regular holiday spots include Albany, Dongara, Sandy Cape, Carnarvon and Albany. While we have shared some special holidays together our most memorable was a trip through the Pilbara, Kimberley and on to the Northern Territory. Four years ago we packed up the kids and drove. It was my first trip to Karijini National Park and the beauty of the place is remarkable. Every day we put on our hiking boots and went out to explore the gorges.
My children enjoyed the walk to Fern Pool and their swim to wash the heat and dust away. At night we watched the sunset and our children played around the campfire. There were many highlights including Broome, El Questro Station, Bungle Bungles and Kakadu. We even drove along the Gibb River Road visiting Bell Gorge and the kids watched freshwater crocodiles eat bats at Windjana Gorge. It was an adventure we will always treasure and it led to us starting a small business called Joondalup Camper Hire.
We hire an MDC Robson XTT (Robbo) and an MDC Jackson (Jacko). Robbo is a 6-berth camper trailer and is designed for families. Jacko is a 4-berth camper trailer and can be taken by a family or a couple. Both camper trailers can go to a caravan park or go off-road.
We are flexible with pickup and return times because we know it is difficult juggling family and work commitments. On arrival we briefly explain the features of the camper trailer, tips to setup and answer any questions. We provide a 75L Waeco fridge/freezer, camp chairs, tables, cooking utensils, lights, plates, full gas bottle and cutlery. Much of the work is done for you and this saves you time – allowing you to enjoy your holiday.
There are so many unique places in WA to visit. Why wait? Hire a camper trailer and we will help you reach amazing destinations.
